Making a reservation

Guests can request a table through the reservation form available on our website or by contacting AY OXFORD directly using our published contact details.

When submitting a reservation request, please provide accurate contact information together with your preferred date, preferred time and number of guests.

Providing complete information helps us review your request and respond efficiently.

Reservation confirmation

Submitting a reservation form is a request only and does not automatically create a confirmed reservation.

A table is considered confirmed only after AY OXFORD has reviewed the request and provided confirmation using the contact details supplied.

Preferred dates & times

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred date and time, subject to table availability.

A requested time may not always be available, particularly during busy periods, evenings, weekends or special occasions.

Where the requested time is unavailable, we may contact you to discuss an alternative time or arrangement.

Party size

Please provide the expected number of guests when making your reservation request.

If the number of guests changes after your reservation has been confirmed, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Changes to party size may be subject to available seating and may require us to adjust the table arrangement.

Large group requests

Larger parties may require additional planning and table preparation.

For larger group reservations, we recommend submitting your request at least 24 hours before the preferred visit time.

This allows us to review the request, consider available seating and contact you if further information is required.

A 24-hour request period does not guarantee availability. Confirmation is still subject to the availability of suitable seating.

Arriving for your reservation

Please arrive at or around the confirmed reservation time so that your table can be used as planned.

If you expect to arrive late, please contact us where possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a late arrival, subject to the availability of the table and the needs of other guests.

As a general guideline, a table may normally be held for up to 15 minutes after the confirmed reservation time. After this period, the table may be released if we have not heard from you.

Where a reservation is released because of a substantial delay or failure to arrive, a new reservation may be required.

Changing a reservation

If you need to change your reservation date, time or party size, please contact AY OXFORD as soon as possible.

We will try to accommodate reasonable changes, subject to availability.

Requests made less than 24 hours before the reservation time may be more difficult to accommodate, particularly during busy periods.

A requested change is not confirmed until AY OXFORD has confirmed the revised arrangement.

Cancellation

If you no longer require your table, please let us know as early as possible so that the table can be made available to other guests.

Where possible, we ask guests to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations, particularly for larger group reservations.

Cancellation arrangements and any applicable terms for a specific booking will be communicated where relevant.

No-show reservations

A reservation may be treated as a no-show where guests do not arrive and do not contact us within a reasonable period around the confirmed reservation time.

Where a table has been released following a no-show, we may not be able to reinstate the original reservation.

If you know that you will not be able to attend, please contact us as soon as possible.

Seating arrangements

Table and seating arrangements depend on the size and layout of the venue and the number of guests attending.

We will make reasonable efforts to meet seating preferences communicated at the time of booking, but a particular table or location cannot be guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.

Tables may be rearranged where reasonably necessary to support the operation of the venue and accommodate guests.

Children and younger guests

Younger guests may be subject to venue arrangements and applicable licensing requirements.

Where relevant, guests should contact AY OXFORD before making a reservation if they have questions about age-related arrangements, seating or their planned visit.

Alcohol is not sold or supplied to anyone under 18. Appropriate identification may be requested where required.

Special requests

Guests are welcome to mention relevant requirements or preferences when submitting a reservation request.

We will consider reasonable requests where possible, but cannot guarantee that every request can be accommodated.

If your request is particularly important to your visit, please contact us directly so that we can discuss it before your reservation is confirmed.

Availability

All reservations are subject to available seating.

Availability can vary depending on the day, time, party size, venue activity and other operational circumstances.

Submitting a preferred date and time does not guarantee that a table will be available.
